What this site is
25-i.com publishes plain-language guides, reference material and simple calculators about agricultural chemicals: how herbicides, insecticides and fungicides are selected and rotated, how sprayers are calibrated, how products are stored and handled safely, and what the terms on a pesticide label mean.
The "25-i" name is simply the site's brand. It does not refer to any product, chemical classification or substance.
Who it is for
- Growers, farm workers and students who want a readable overview before going to the label, the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) or their extension service.
- New applicators studying for certification who want terminology and worked calculation examples.
- Anyone trying to understand the basic vocabulary of crop protection (REI, PHI, mode of action, formulation codes and so on).
What this site does not do
- We do not manufacture, sell, register, distribute or recommend specific branded pesticides or fertilizers.
- We are not a licensed pesticide applicator, crop consultant or regulatory agency, and we hold no product registrations or certifications.
- We do not provide site-specific agronomic, legal or medical advice. For exposure emergencies call your local poison control centre (1-800-222-1222 in the United States) or emergency services.
How the content is prepared
Articles are general educational summaries of widely published agronomy and pesticide-safety practice (for example, the principles behind integrated pest management, mode-of-action rotation and sprayer calibration). They are not peer reviewed and are not a substitute for the product label, which is the legally binding document for any pesticide use. If you spot an error, please tell us through the contact page and we will review and correct it.
